Combination Exercises For Athletes

The closer that our athletes’ get to their season, the more specific the exercises become. We like to begin to do combined movements. When you think about a sport, it is a multitude of movements that are performed to achieve a goal. Remember, we can’t completely mock a sport in the weight room, unless your sport is weight lifting, but we can do our best to help characteristics transfer to the field/court.

By utilizing combination movements, you begin match the energy systems that are used when performing your sport. The time under tension is increased along with more muscles being recruited to to perform such exercises.

This is a variation that we have been using with athletes, and they are very challenging. These are Bulgarian Squats into an Single Leg RDL movement. We demonstrate 3 different variations of this particular exercise.
